My name is Aztrid Novillo. I am an award-winning nature and wildlife photographer, filmmaker, and artist with a focus on nature conservation, based in Longyearbyen, Svalbard.
Born in the quiet light of Longyearbyen, each art piece I create carries a fragment of the high Arctic — its vast silence, its raw textures, its untamed beauty.
Through original photography and sculptural work, I seek to capture moments that feel both powerful and intimate — the meeting of light and ice, movement and stillness, wilderness and wonder.
Art has been running through my veins since I was a little girl, always with a creative mind and curiosity about the natural world and how to represent it in many art forms. Through the years, I have explored different paths with paint, design, illustration, photography, sculpture, videography and music. All those paths are guided by my deep connection with nature.
